Also called the ER, our emergency department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with highly trained medical personnel and the latest technology. Nurses and doctors are there all day and night to care for medical problems that need quick attention. Personnel in the lab, surgery and medical imaging departments are also available to support any emergency. General The CRMC emergency department has state-of-the-art equipment, two trauma rooms, five medical beds and one orthopedic room. On average, our personnel see nearly 35 patients per day. Doctors Specializing in Emergency Medicine When you have an emergency, being seen by a physician who is board certified/eligible in emergency medicine is critical. Emergency medicine physicians are specifically trained to treat patients in an emergent situation—ruling out the most life-threatening diagnosis first. The CRMC ER is ready to help—24/7.
