Education & Training
Graduated from Chamberlain University in 2021 as a Family Nurse Practitioner and have been practicing since then. I began my nursing career at CRMC in 2007, where I developed a strong foundation in patient care and a passion for serving our local community.
Specialty & Clinical Interests
My primary area of practice is primary care, with clinical interest in Oncology, high-risk cancer screening, and genetic testing. I enjoy helping patients understand their health risks and taking a proactive approach to prevention and early detection.
Procedures & Services
I have completed specialized training in Cancer Genetics through City of Hope and provide cancer genetic risk assessment and counseling. I am passionate about helping patients understand their personal and family history and determine when genetic testing or enhanced cancer screenings may be appropriate.
Approach to Care
My approach to patient care is centered around treating the whole person, not simply a diagnosis. I believe in building trusting relationships with my patients, listening to their concerns, and working together to develop a plan that fits their individual needs and lifestyle. I try to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while empowering the patient to take an active role in their health. I also believe that prevention and early detection are essential components of primary care.
Why CRMC
Coffeyville Regional Medical Center has been an important part of my nursing and professional journey since I began my nursing career there in 2007. I chose to continue practicing in this community because I value the relationship that can be built when you care for patients close to home. Working in a smaller community allows me to get to know my patients and their families and understand the unique needs and challenges of the community I serve. I enjoy being able to provide comprehensive primary care while helping patients navigate their health throughout different stages of life. It is rewarding to care for people in the clinic, in the community, and through multiple generations of a family.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, family, and friends. My children are both active in sports, so much of our time is spent cheering them on and staying busy with their activities.
